Our reviews for Never Have I Ever...

Bookseller Andi:

WOW. I love a twistery (twisty mystery!) and pride myself on figuring out at least some of the plot before the end. This one had me fooled the whole way! Amy, our main character has settled into a peaceful life and left her sordid past behind her. She's happy with her family and friends until Roux shows up at her book club meeting and threatens her charmed life. I won't give away any more because this one is too good to spoil. I had the pleasure of meeting Jackson at a conference recently and I feel super lucky to have gotten in on the ground floor with this amazing story.

Bookseller Dean:

Never Have I Ever will take you on a breathtaking journey from beginning to end. Jackson weaves a masterful mystery with unexpected twists and turns on every page. The story follows Amy Whey, a Florida housewife with a dark secret safely buried in the past. But then a stranger shows up to her neighborhood book club and starts a game that hurtles Amy back into her deepest, most hidden secrets. This story is kept me guessing until the very end and still managed to surprise me. This one is shaping up to be my favorite novel of the year.

Bookseller Katie:

Thrillers are my thing, ya'll. They are my comfort reads, my distractions, and my favorite favorites. I love when an author manages to surprise me, but Never Have I Ever completely floored me with its twists and reveals! I loved the characters, the secrets, the games. It had me on the edge of my seat (and toes, because I listened to the audio book while pacing my house to ease my anxiety). So put down that classic that everyone else has probably already read or watched on BBC, and grab THIS BOOK for your local book club's next read.

Fountain Bookstore Owner Kelly:

Truly a step above the average domestic thriller.  I really enjoy this genre, but it has become difficult lately to find the best ones in the glut of the current surplus.  I was puzzled when I found the new Joshilyn Jackson in this bunch.  She's never written anything like this before.  I was already a fan and a buddy, so I was interested in her take.  Holy white knuckles, Batman!  I actually listened to the audiobook (expertly read by the author).  I listened in my car.  I listened in my kitchen.  I listened doing housework.  I could not.  Stop.  Listening.  There should be a warning label on this thing!  You will not stop once you start, so clear your calendar, people!
