Robert L. Tsai is Professor of Law at American University and the author of three book: Practical Equality, America’s Forgotten Constitutions, and Eloquence and Reason. Practical Equality, a call to arms to pursue equality by applying the lessons of the past, has been hailed as “accessible” and “brilliant.” America’s Forgotten Constitutions was called “captivating,” “magisterial,” and “a remarkable feat of excavation." Tsai is an expert in constitutional law and democratic politics. His essays have appeared in Politico, Slate, Boston Globe, Boston Review, Washington Post, and L.A. Review of Books. He has been a guest on Meet the Press, Morning Joe, and NPR.
