POSTPONED - Local Author/Media Partnerships: A Conversation with Ryan Kent and Tony Harris

Hyper-local will be the focus of tonight's discussion with Fountain favorite poet Ryan Kent and local media expert Tony Harris.

See behind the scenes of what it takes to run a successful local media blitz and how writers can work in partnership with zines, online journals, influencer campaigns, and promotional techniques often used for other art forms to create buzz.

Both guests will also discuss the creative aspects of their work and how it has changed over time.

Ryan Kent (Poet)

Kent is the author of Poems For Dead People and This Is Why I Am Insane. He is the microphone player for Murdersome and contributes to Ozy.com and RVA Magazine. Hit Me When I'm Pretty is his third collection poetry. He lives Cali-sober in Richmond, Virginia.

Tony Harris (RVA Mag/BIGWRK)

Founder of a few magazines, publisher of books, designer of culture and a curious mind that never stops learning. Destroyer of the creeping homogenous culture dulling our minds. Likes pho and a wonderful listener. Glad to be here. How are you?
