In the spirit of always looking for something new, we're rounding out the summer with the Kissing Summer Goodbye Tour with three debut authors! Format will be a moderated panel and will focus on being new in the industry. This is just the beginning for them, so we're looking for a big crowd to show them support. Thanks!
Christina June writes young adult contemporary fiction when she’s not writing college recommendation letters during her day job as a school counselor. Christina is a voracious reader, loves to travel, eats too many cupcakes, and hopes to one day be bicoastal – the east coast of the US and the east coast of Scotland. She lives just outside Washington DC with her husband and daughter. Her debut novel is It Started With Goodbye.
Katy Upperman is a graduate of Washington State University, a former elementary school teacher, and an insatiable reader. When not writing for young adults, Katy can be found whipping up batches of chocolate chip cookies, or exploring the country with her husband and daughter. Kissing Max Holden is her debut novel.
Gwen Cole writes Young Adult books and Cold Summer is her debut novel. She grew up in upstate New York, moved to Virginia where she did not graduate college, and worked a various number of jobs including pharmacy technician, meat clerk, ranch hand, and a receiving specialist at Target. She may or may not have written a number of books while working at certain jobs. At the age of eighteen, Gwen played bass in a hardcore band and later married the lead guitarist. Gwen now lives in Richmond, Virginia with her husband, daughter, and very large dog.
