Harper Lee Theme Dinner with The Author of Mockingbird, Charles Shields at Camden’s Dogtown Market

Enjoy a discussion about the controversy surrounding the publication of Go Set a Watchman led by the author of the newly updated Mockingbird: A Portrait of Harper Lee from Scout to Go Set a Watchman.  He will present his research on the last chapter of Lee’s life and then take questions and comments in a private presentation room above the restaurant.

Then we’ll all go downstairs for a Harper Lee themed dinner prepared by Chef Andy Howell inspired by food shared and talked about in the books.

The three course menu includes:

Ambrosia (salad)

Pickle Brined and Bacon Fat Fried Chicken Thighs with Pickled Peaches, Turnip Greens, and Cracklin Bread

Lane Cake

Coffee or tea and tip included.

Sodas and alcoholic beverages may be purchased separately.  Please tip your server for service for these items that are not included in the ticket price.
