FEATURE EVENT - A Steam(punk)y Evening with Cherie Priest !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Steampunk fans, this is a total OMG-we-did-it-not-to-be-missed moment- Cherie Priest is coming to Fountain!

Everyone on staff at Fountain reads steampunk and Priest is the undisputed Queen. Join us for an evening with one of our favorite authors, even if you're only coming to place bets on whether or not Doc spontaneously combusts from excitement!

Cherie Priest is the author of seven novels, most recently the steampunk pulp adventures Boneshaker and Dreadnought, the first two stories in the Civil War/alternate-history/steampunk Clockwork Century series. Boneshaker, which features zombies and zeppelins, was nominated for both the Hugo Award and the Nebula Award; it was a PNBA Award winner, winner of the Locus Award for Best Science Fiction Novel, and has been translated into multiple languages.

Cherie has also written Fathom, the Eden Moore series and novellas Dreadful Skin and Those Who Went Remain There Still. Cherie's short stories and nonfiction articles have appeared in such fine publications as Weird Tales, Subterranean Magazine, Publishers Weekly, and the Stoker-nominated anthology Aegri Somnia from Apex. Though she spent most of her life in the southeast, she presently lives in Seattle, Washington, with her husband and a fat black cat.
