Charles (Chip) Jones is an award-winning journalist and author of two books of military and media history, Boys of ’67 and Red, White Or Yellow? A
graduate of the University of Kansas and the Hollins College creative
writing program, Jones worked as a reporter at the Roanoke Times and
Richmond Times-Dispatch, and associate editor of Virginia Business. He’s
married to Deborah Jones, his creative partner in literature and music,
and has three grown children. War Shots is his third work of nonfiction.
